THE WIZARD OF OZ Closes at MCCC's Kelsey Theatre

Journey to a world of witches, wizards and munchkins in the Yardley Players' production of the musical, "The Wizard of Oz" at Mercer County Community College's Kelsey Theatre. Dates and show times for this enduring classic are through April 1 at 2 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on Mercer's West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.

Dates and show times for this enduring classic are: Fridays, March 23 and March 30 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturdays, March 24 and March 31 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; and Sundays, March 25 and April 1 at 2 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on Mercer's West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road. A reception with the cast and crew follows the opening night performance on March 23. (Note: Earlier start time for family audiences.)

As a centerpiece of the Morrisville Business Association's borough-wide celebration of a 'Revolutionary Weekend,' Aug. 20 - 22, the nonprofit Actors' NET of Bucks County presents an encore production of the award winning musical 1776. With activities ranging from tours of Historic Summerseat, a colonial era home once owned by two signers of the Declaration of Independence (Robert Morris, for whom the borough is named, and George Clymer), to a special Saturday afternoon program Aug. 22 featuring actor/interpreters discussing the Revolutionary War effort, the weekend promises to be its own historic event. Many businesses and restaurants are offering discounts to residents and visitors to the picturesque community located just across the Delaware River from Trenton, NJ.

Presented by The Yardley Players, show times and performances are Fridays, July 10 and 17 at 8 p.m., Saturdays, July 11 and 18 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., and Sundays, July 12 and 19 at 2 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on the college's West Windsor campus at 1200 Old Trenton Road. A reception with the cast and crew follows the opening night performance on July 10.
