The Suzi Bass Awards revealed nominations for the 2016-2017 Atlanta professional theatre season on Monday evening, September 18, to patrons and industry artists.

A big surprise is in store for Peppa Pig fans throughout the U.S. and Canada! The newest North American Peppa Pig Live tour, Peppa Pig's Surprise, will visit an additional 33 cities in 2018.

This fall, Theatrical Outfit stages the Southeast premiere of Boy, a recent Off-Broadway hit play by Anna Ziegler inspired by a true story of gender reassignment, featuring Tom Key, Theatrical Outfit's Artistic Director, and Clifton Guterman, Theatrical Outfit's Associate Artistic Director, with direction by Melissa Foulger.

 Peppa Pig's Big Splash, Peppa's first North American theatre tour resumes on September 14 and will visit NJPAC on Today, April 27, 2017. By popular demand, 40 additional cities have been added to the tour schedule for 2017, including coast-to-coast stops from Anaheim and Oakland to Newark and many more. In addition, the hit live show will make an exciting visit north of the border for the very first time with stops in major Canadian cities, including Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal. The new tour dates will give fans throughout North America one last chance to see Peppa Pig live on stage during this final leg of the Peppa Pig's Big Splash tour.

Prepare to be swept away by one of the most endearing love stories of all time! Aurora Theatre will dazzle audiences with its production of the timeless tale The Bridges of Madison County, on stage through April 16.

Surprise, Peppa Pig fans! A brand new, live stage show announced today ensures Peppa Pig will be touring North America through 2017 and beyond. Peppa Pig's Surprise will visit more than 60 cities, stopping by The VETS on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at 6pm. The Peppa Pig stage show, based on Entertainment One's (eOne) top-rated TV series, airing daily on Nick Jr., is one of the most successful family theater tours in U.S. history. One hundred twenty five venues have completely sold out with 300,000 tickets sold in the U.S. to date.   

Actor's Express presents a reading of Joshua Harmon's comedy Ivanka: A Medea for Right Now for a one-night special engagement on October 30, 2016 at 7 PM. Directed by A. Julian Verner, this performance is free and open to the public.

 Peppa Pig's Big Splash, Peppa's first North American theater tour, will stop at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center on Today, Oct. 15, 2016 at 5 p.m.         

Following their one-off theatrical re-staging of Ken Loach's seminal work Cathy Come Home at the Barbican in July of this year, the award-winning theatre company Cardboard Citizens has announced a brand new touring production for October, Cathy, based around similar themes. This year marks the marks the both 50th anniversary of Loach's film and the 25th anniversary of the theatre company who work making theatre with and for homeless people.
