Temple of Improv! (Toi!) presents Hump Night!, a night of Chicago-style long-form comedy improvisation every Wednesday at 7pm at Maryland Ensemble Theatre (MET). Tickets are $5 (no reservations) and can be purchased an hour before each performance at MET located at 31 W. Patrick Street, in the historic FSK Hotel.

The Maryland Ensemble Theatre (MET) will present 'The Last Hurrah Saves Thanksgiving', a holiday special that is sure to prevent Thanksgiving from being overshadowed by Christmas. On Nov. 23rd at 7 p.m. the festivities will begin. All are welcome to attend as Thanksgiving is reinvented as an international holiday with a brand new mascot, Mumps The Dying Turkey. new traditions for food consumption will be presented, festive forms of high-fiving will be given, and we'll all greet one another with a hearty 'You're Welcome.' Guests will include Isabel Duarte, Matt Kline, James McGarvey and more.

Maryland Ensemble Theatre (MET) will present the second play in its seventeenth Mainstage season, that well known western 'Twelfth Night', a rootin' tootin' six-gun shootin' comedy by Wild Bill Shakespeare. The classic comedy with a MET twist will be directed by Tim Seltzer and will run every Thursday through Sunday at Maryland Ensemble Theatre from today, October 24 through November 16.

Maryland Ensemble Theatre Opens IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE: A LIVE RADIO PLAY, 12/9

Maryland Ensemble Theatre (MET) continues its fifteeenth anniversary season this December with a festive new take on a holiday classic with, It's A Wonderful LIfe: A Live Radio Play. This award-winning adaptation brings Bedford Falls to life by way of an on stage 1940s radio broadcast, and you're invited to be a member of the live studio audience! Since its premier in 1996 playwright Joe Landry's It's A Wonderful LIfe: A Live Radio Play has been produced hundreds of times across the US and been heralded as, 'One of the best holiday shows around.' (Chicago Sun-Times). The story, true to Frank Capra's 1946 film classic starring James Stewart and Donna Reed, is told by six actors performing dozen of characters and all the foley sound effects in traditional old-fashioned radio style.
