Las Vegas Philharmonic to Present FA LA LA LAS VEGAS, 12/6

The Las Vegas Philharmonic performs its annual holiday POPS concert called 'Fa La La Las Vegas!' on Saturday, December 6th in Reynolds Hall at The Smith Center with two performances, a 2:00 p.m. matinee and a 7:30 p.m. evening show. Maestro Cabrera will lead the orchestra in his second concert as Music Director for the Las Vegas Philharmonic. The men and women of the Las Vegas Master Singers will accompany the Las Vegas Philharmonic in this popular holiday program. In addition, Tod Fitzpatrick, baritone and Associate Professor of Music for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, will sing selections in the program including Clurman's Songs of Freedom: A Celebration of Chanukah and Fantasia on Christmas Carols.

The Capitol Center for the Arts is pleased to announce that it will present 10 productions in next season's Met: Live in HD series, beginning with Verdi's Macbeth on Saturday, October 11, at. Single tickets for this series are on sale now for $26 Adults; $22 Seniors/Met/CCA Members; and $15 Students. Season subscriptions are also available at $208 Adults; $176 Seniors/Met/CCA Members; and $120 students.

Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra (MYSO) and Milwaukee Children's Choir (MCC) have announced that on Sunday, March 10, 2013, at 3:00 PM, MYSO and MCC will present this year's collaborative Milwaukee Youth Music Celebration in Helen Bader Concert Hall, at the UW-Milwaukee Zelazo Center for the Performing Arts, 2419 East Kenwood Blvd., Milwaukee. On June 21st from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., as part of Make Music New York, Joe's Pub will present performances at the Astor Place Cube located at Cooper Sq at Lafayette St. In its fourth year, Make Music New York (MMNY) is a unique festival of free concerts in public spaces throughout the five boroughs of New York City. MMNY takes place simultaneously with similar festivities in more than 327 cities around the world - a global celebration of music making.
