2017/18 Professional Training Institute Ensemble Announced

Milwaukee Repertory Theater is pleased to announce the 2017/18 Professional Training Institute (PTI) ensemble, an advanced actor training program for students in 8th-12th grade who may have an interest in pursuing a career as a professional theater artist. The 2017/18 PTI ensemble includes Elliott Brotherhood, Juliana Garcia-Malacara-Flynn, Lindsay Gleason, Durran Goodwin Jr., Kamani Graham, Meguire Hennes, Nathan Kabara, Maricella Kessenich, Logan Muñoz, Bradley Nowacek, Reese Parish, Dominic Schiro, Payton Elizabeth Stovall, Kenyon Terrell, Saleaqua Winston, and Mainyia Xiong. These sixteen students hailing from fourteen different high schools will receive free training from some of the top theater professionals in the world, culminating in a capstone summer performance where they will be employed as paid, professional actors.

The Las Vegas Philharmonic will start selling single tickets on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 to its 13 performances from September 2017 - May 2018 through The Smith Center Box Office. This will be the orchestra's 19th concert season and Donato Cabrera's 4th season as Music Director for the Las Vegas Philharmonic.
Las Vegas Philharmonic Offers Flex Pass

The Las Vegas Philharmonic will start selling its FLEX PASS to patrons on Monday, July 17, 2017. This will be the third season that the Philharmonic has offered the Flex Pass as an alternative to its traditional subscription packages. FLEX PASS is a membership-based program that offers customization and flexibility for patrons to decide which concert(s) they want to attend at a later date. The FLEX PASS offers 6 seats to any of the Philharmonic's Reynolds Hall performances in the upcoming 2017?2018 season. The seats can be redeemed all at once or broken into any configuration, using up to a maximum of 6 seats.

The Las Vegas Philharmonic presents its annual holiday program conducted by Music Director Donato Cabrera with three performances on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, December 6, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in Reynolds Hall at The Smith Center. This year's holiday theme is The Snowman, and will feature a selection of holiday classics, the children's film, The Snowman, based on the popular children's book created and illustrated by Raymond Briggs, featuring boy soprano Noah Pastor from Cashman Middle School, and an audience sing-along. The orchestra will be accompanied by the Las Vegas Master Singers, led by University of Nevada, Las Vegas Choral Director, David Weiller. We encourage patrons to arrive early to meet with Santa in the lobby!

The Las Vegas Philharmonic performs its annual holiday POPS concert called 'Fa La La Las Vegas!' tonight, December 6th in Reynolds Hall at The Smith Center with two performances, a 2:00 p.m. matinee and a 7:30 p.m. evening show. Maestro Cabrera will lead the orchestra in his second concert as Music Director for the Las Vegas Philharmonic. The men and women of the Las Vegas Master Singers will accompany the Las Vegas Philharmonic in this popular holiday program. In addition, Tod Fitzpatrick, baritone and Associate Professor of Music for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, will sing selections in the program including Clurman's Songs of Freedom: A Celebration of Chanukah and Fantasia on Christmas Carols.
