Mildred's Umbrella Theatre Company presents Ravenscroft, by Don Nigro, May 3-18, 2013 with a preview on Thursday, May 2. Directed by Rob Kimbro and starring Sean Patrick Judge, Michelle Edwards, Claire Anderson, Karen Schlag, Zoquera Milburn and Kara Ray.

Following its critically acclaimed hits The Quality of Life and Faith Healer, The Den Theatre continues its 2012/13 season with the world premiere of CITY OF DREADFUL NIGHT by Don Nigro, directed by ensemble member Ron Wells, playing now through March 16, 2013 on The Den's mainstage at 1333 N. Milwaukee Ave in Chicago's Wicker Park Neighborhood. CITY OF DREADFUL NIGHT features Sam Guinan-Nyhart, Ben Hertel, Matthew Isler and Justine Turner. Virginia Repertory Theatre announces the opening of Hay Fever by Noel Coward at the Sara Belle and Neil November Theatre on Friday, February 15, 2013 with a preview on February 14. Part of the Acts of Faith Theatre Festival, the show will run through March 3 with a talk back on Sunday, February 24 following the 2:00 p.m. matinee. This witty comedy of manners set in the 1920's English countryside portrays the outlandish lifestyle of four bohemians as they host unsuspecting guests for a weekend in the country.

Lin, directed by Andy Sandberg (The Last Smoker in America), will celebrate its New York Premiere on Friday, November 16th when it begins previews at St. Luke's Theatre, 308 West 46th Street, in the heart of Times Square. The official opening is Tuesday, December 4th at 7 PM. Zelda at the Oasis, which features Edwin Cahill and Gardner Reed, is an open-ended engagement.

For the third summer in a row Theatre 40 is turning back time to present a delightfully eerie murder mystery thriller: first, it was Agatha Christie's Black Coffee, then last summer The Spider's Web, and now, from the early twenties, Mary Roberts Rinehart's and Avery Hopwood's The Bat. The current production is not quite as tightly packaged as the previous two, but, despite the play's lengthy exposition and a somewhat slow delivery, it does have guest artist Veronica Cartwright on board, an opulent set and costumes...and, with its thunder and lightning blackouts and creepy images popping up outside the window and in the corridor, it certainly is a whole lot of fun to experience.
