Michael Gambon will return to the West End stage to star in 'KRAPP'S LAST TAPE' by Samuel Beckett, which will open at the Duchess Theatre on 15 September for a limited season, finishing on 20 November.

Mad scientists will be taking over Bristol Riverside Theatre at the free Mad Scientist Film Festival on Friday, September 16. BRT will present a double-header of mad scientist-themed films in connection with the opening production of its mainstage season, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Jeffrey Hatcher, running September 28-October 17.

Judgment Day will run at the Almeida from 3 September - 17 October 2009, with press night on 10 September. The Broadway production of Yasmina Reza's GOD OF CARNAGE opens on Sunday, March 22. The play, directed by Matthew Warchus began previews on Saturday, February 28 at the Bernard Jacobs Theatre (242 West 45 Street). Jeff Daniels, Hope Davis, James Gandolfini and Marcia Gay Harden star in GOD OF CARNAGE, the new play by Yasmina Reza, translated by Christopher Hampton, directed by Matthew Warchus.

The Almeida Theatre?s sell-out production of Tom Kempinski?s two-hander Duet for One will transfer to the Vaudeville Theatre for a 12 week limited run, performances from 7 May with press night on 12 May. Juliet Stevenson and Henry Goodman play Stephanie Abrahams and Dr Feldmann, re-creating their critically acclaimed performances seen at the Almeida in Matthew Lloyd?s production which completes its run this weekend. Design is by Lez Brotherston with lighting by Jason Taylor and sound by John Leonard. Duet for One is produced in the West End by Lee Dean and Jenny Topper.

As David Frost moved the role to film, however, he grew even more comfortable in Frost's skin. 'I've lived with this character for over a year, and the basics of the way I see him didn't really change from stage to film,' he notes.

Rupert Goold directs Michael Gambon, David Bradley, David Walliams and Nick Dunning in Harold Pinter's No Man's Land, at the Duke of York's Theatre. The production is currently booking until 3 January 2009. A Gate Theatre, Dublin production, No Man's Land is presented by Sonia Friedman Productions and Michael Colgan, with design by Giles Cadle, lighting by Neil Austin and sound and music by Adam Cork. Goold's production transfers to London following its opening at the Gate Theatre, Dublin in August.

The 2009 season at the Almeida Theatre will include five premieres, two major revivals and a Shakespeare.
