REVERBdance and Steps Beyond Foundation Present the 10th Anniversary REVERBdance FESTIVAL

REVERBdance Festival celebrates its 10th year of presenting a stimulating variety of works by both seasoned and emerging contemporary dance artists, including dance theater choreography, solo performers, and dance companies.  The dancers and choreographers hail from around the U.S., South Africa, London, and Japan.  Four performances, November 6-8 at Baruch P.A. Center.

Faithfully adapted by Producer CRAIG WICHMAN from the original novel, this world-premiere audio drama explores the tale's themes of life, of death-and of an accursed state which is neither. If you've only seen the movies, you do NOT really know this chilling story.

BY THE WATER Reading Set for New York Society for Ethical Culture

Ahead of the 3rd Anniversary of Hurricane Sandy, the New York Society for Ethical Culture (NYSEC), www.nysec.org presents a reading of the play, "By the Water" on Friday, October 9 at 7:00 PM.  Prior to the reading, there will be a reception at 6:30 PM and a discussion of ethical issues raised in the play led by Betsy Ungar, who has directed previous NYSEC play readings. Written by Sharon Rothstein and directed by Gregory Taylor, the reading will take place at NYSEC's landmark, 105-year-old Meeting House building on Central Park West (2 West 64th Street).

Premiere Stages at Kean University will present the New Jersey Premiere of Sharyn Rothstein's Off-Broadway hit By the Water from July 16th through August 2nd in the Zella Fry Theatre. In this moving new play directed by Adam Immerwahr, Hurricane Sandy wields its force upon the home of Marty and Mary Murphy, threatening to destroy not only the life they have built together but the neighborhood they grew up in. Will Marty manage to save his neighborhood and his home, or are the secrets unearthed by the storm too powerful to overcome?
