On last night's SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE, Christina Perri performed her new single 'Burning Gold,'

Christina Perri, whose song, "Jar of Hearts," led to overnight success and a record deal after being featured on the show, is back to perform her new single, "Burning Gold," from her "Head or Heart" album.

Tanisha Belnap and Rudy Abreu - compete once again for America and the judges, including guest judge Christina Applegate, who is back at the judging desk.

Christina Applegate, Jenna Elfman, Sarah Hyland, Paula Abdul, Mary Murphyand Elizabeth Berkley stepped forward as presenters at the annual Dizzy Feet Foundation gala to provide dance scholarships and opportunities to youth.

This week's SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE had a very Broadway feel to it with Josh Bergasse, the choreographer of the upcoming ON THE TOWN revival, staging a Top-20 routine to the show's anthem 'New York, New York' (the one by Bernstein, Comden, and Green, not Kander and Ebb). As we learned last week, this season's winner will earn a spot in the musical's ensemble. While some people, including @Actor_Friend, don't like this idea, remember, the last network show to give away roles on Broadway brought us Laura Osnes, so let's reserve judgment, just in case a reality show brings us more Broadway royalty this time.

Last night, after thousands of auditions by the best dancers around the nation, and the grueling, week-long callbacks round, the Top 20 finalists on Season 11 of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE were revealed.

This week's SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE marked the end of an era. After an all too short month, DANCE fans bid a fond(?) adieu to Justin Bieber and his choreographer Nick DeMoura, who introduced their final Dance Crew Battle. While I'm sure Uncle Nigel will do whatever he can to get The Biebs on the finale (assuming all of his visa issues are resolved) to introduced the most-tweeted crew.

Copeland will bring her 18 years of dance experience and her hard-won life lessons to the EMMY winning FOX show SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE as a Guest Judge on multiple episodes.

Resident judges Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy will be joined by guest judges Billy Porter (Broadway's Kinky Boots) and Misty Copeland (Philadelphia) and Christina Applegate (Los Angeles).

I have to admit, the So You Think You Can Dance auditions are not my favorite part of the show. While I still love seeing all of the talented performers, I far prefer the long-form, fully-realized numbers that we get on the live shows compared to the 30 seconds of solos we get during auditions. That being said, when Nigel Lythgoe took to Twitter this week and said that this week's audition episode might be the best in the show's history, I was intrigued.
