The critically acclaimed baseball comedy, ROUNDING THIRD, will play this fall at the Duncan Smith Theater. The cast will feature Broadway veteran, Jim Stanek (Indiscretions; A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum) and Michael Basile (All Dolled Up). This strictly limited engagement opens Friday, September 21st and runs through Saturday, October 6th, 2012.

Atlanta's 2011 Suzi Awards for professional theatre celebrated 22 companies, hundreds of professional artists, theatre volunteers, and the Center for Puppetry Arts at a gala event Monday evening at the Conant Center on Oglethorpe University's campus. With over four hundred in attendance, the evening began as each of the casts nominated for Ensemble-Musical performed a medley of numbers from their shows. After the performances, all the casts came back on stage to await the announcement of their category's winner, reflecting Melissa McCarthy and friends at the Emmy Awards. CBS announced today its new 2011-2012 primetime schedule, ordering five new series and making key time-period moves for CSI and THE GOOD WIFE to strengthen its already top-rated primetime lineup.
