Amit Shah (Abdul Khan), Ashley Kumar (Tariq Khan), Darren Kuppan (Maneer Khan), Nathan Clarke (Saleem Khan), Taj Atwal (Meenah Khan) and Michael Karim (Sajit Khan) join multi award-winning actress Jane Horrocks (Ella Khan) and East is East's award-winning playwright Ayub Khan Din (George Khan) as the Khan family in Ayub Khan Din's critically-acclaimed play.

The third character poster from Warner Bros. Pictures' 'The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies' was revealed today on the film's official Twitter page.

Today, MTV announced their spine-chilling Halloween plans with the world premiere of the MTV original movie “The Dorm” on Sunday, October 26 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Jamie Lloyd Productions' Trafalgar Transformed production of East is East, running from this Saturday 4 October at Trafalgar Studios, will release its initial batch of £15 Monday tickets on Wednesday 1 October from 10.00am. Tickets can be purchased via the box office in person or online (2 tickets per person per booking) 24 hours only. The dates on sale will be 13, 20, 27 October and 3 November, and will include every seat in the entire auditorium.

The Khans are joined by Sally Bankes (Auntie Annie), Rani Moorthy (Mrs. Shah) and Hassani Shapi (Mr Shah/Doctor). Ash Rizi, Karl Seth, Deepal Parmar and Pamela Bennett (Ensemble) complete the cast.

Jamie Lloyd Productions, Trafalgar Transformed, Richard III and East is East full cast hand over event and Q&A led by artistic director, Jamie Lloyd, on Wednesday 17 September.

Jamie Lloyd's Trafalgar Transformed seasons are not just about renovating the look of a theatre. Lloyd wants the transformation to reach the audience too and deliver high quality theatre to new audiences. Halfway through his second Trafalgar Transformed season, BWW:UK was behind the scenes as the baton was handed over from the critically acclaimed Richard III to the cast of East is East, starring Jane Horrocks.

Carly Bawden, Simon Lipkin, Mike McShane, Andy Nyman, David Roberts and Catherine Tate have been cast in Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman's ASSASSINS, directed by Jamie Lloyd, at the Menier Chocolate Factory from 21st November 2014 - 7th March 2015. Press Night is Monday 1st December, 8pm. Public booking opens today.

Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG) is currently transforming its Front of House areas by installing a number of stylish lounges and concept bars. Having invested more than £3 million in the roll out of 22 Ambassador Lounges and 10 premium bars so far, ATG has planned a further investment of £600,000 by the end of 2014.

BroadwayWorld.com has exclusively learned that Sherlock Holmes may be headed to the stage in the coming Broadway seasons. Tony Award Nominated producer Antonio R. Marion (Big Fish, Evita) is said to be sheparding the project that is currently in the developmental stages. The production is set to be a brand new version of the beloved stories written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle that will be presented in the format of a play while a live orchestra underscores the drama and action.

The Menier Chocolate Factory has announced that its upcoming season will include productions of ASSASSINS by Stephen Sondheim & John Weidman, BUYER AND CELLAR by Jonathan Tolins & starring Michael Urie, plus AN EVENING WITH JOAN PLOWRIGHT.

Though he has yet to grace a Broadway stage, I have a feeling that that is just an eventuality as his popularity continues to skyrocket on this side of the Atlantic. Today we are taking a look at his career from the British stage in 'Hedda Gabler,' 'After the Dance,' and 'Frankenstein' to his work on film in '12 Years a Slave,' 'August: Osage County,' and 'Star Trek: Into Darkness,' to his iconic work on TV as the 'high-functioning sociopath' titular character on the BBC's 'Sherlock,' for which he is nominated a second time, in addition to his 2013 nomination for HBO's 'Parade's End.'

The new season will take place in the year 1979 and feature a younger Lou Solverson who has just returned from the Vietnam War.

FX announced today at the Television Critics Association that it has ordered a second season of the small screen adaption of Joel and Ethan Coen's popular film FARGO. T

Gina McKee (Di & Viv & Rose, King Lear, Ivanov, Our Friends In The North, Notting Hill) plays Queen Elizabeth, alongside the previously announced Martin Freeman (Clybourne Park, The Hobbit, Sherlock, Fargo) as Richard III in Jamie Lloyd's first production of his second season at Trafalgar Transformed, Richard III, which had a press night on 8 July. The production runs through 27 September.

All the talk about this Richard III will be about Martin Freeman. It's unavoidable really. Well-known television star takes on one of the big Shakespearean roles and a role outside what might be seen as his comfort zone. Any review therefore will need to confront this head on.
