THE PIED PIPERS OF THE LOWER EAST SIDE Gets Extended At P.S.122, Closes 8/17

Due to sold out performances and strong critical acclaim, P.S. 122 and The Amoralists are proud to announce that The Pied Pipers of the Lower East Side, written and directed by Derek Ahonen, will extend from July 30th to August 17th, 2009. Performance Space 122 is located at 150 1st Avenue (at East 9th Street) in NYC.

Metropolitan Playhouse Presents the First Revival of WPA Play POWER by Arthur Arent

Metropolitan Playhouse, the East Village company committed to exploring contemporary America through its theatrical past, presents the first New York revival of Power by Arthur Arent, a ?Living Newspaper? developed through the WPA?s Federal Theater Project. Clockwork Theater Announces Cast For McManus' CHERRY SMOKE

The Clockwork Theatre is pleased to announce the cast for their upcoming production of CHERRY SMOKE by JAMES McMANUS (winner of the 2006 Princess Grace Playwriting Award), directed by JADE KING CARROLL. The title role of Cherry will be portrayed by MARIANNA McCLELLAN, with JAY ROHLOFF playing opposite her in the role of Fish. Mr. Rohloff, who serves as Clockwork's Artistic Director, was most recently seen in the company's revival of Caryl Churchill's A Number at Theatre Row in September, 2008, for which he received praise for portraying a man and two very unique clones of that man.
