Barry Goralnick, Sarahbeth Grossman, Craig Zehms in association with Cutting Hedge Productions will present a haunting new world premiere drama, THE REPORT, August 15 - 28 in the New York International Fringe Festival. Based on the novel by Jessica Francis Kane, THE REPORT was adapted by Martin Casella, whose THE IRISH CURSE earned the Outstanding Playwriting Award in the 2005 FringeNYC and went on to a highly acclaimed Off-Broadway run. The show's director is Alan Muraoka whose credits include FALSETTOLAND, KARAOKE STORIES and "Sesame Street."

Veteran union activist Joseph Ruskin has posthumously received the 2014 Patrick Quinn Award for Distinguished Service to Actors presented by the Actors' Equity Foundation. Ruskin, who joined Equity in 1952, served on the Council from 1979 until his death on December 28, 2013 at the age of 89. The award will be presented in Los Angeles to his wife, Barbara Ruskin, at the Equity Council meeting on Tuesday, July 15th.

Pride Films and Plays (PFP) announces the launch of 'Proud of PFP,' a social media driven fundraising and marketing campaign. Running during Gay Pride Month, June 1-30, with a goal of 300 gifts in 30 days, PFP will encourage donations via the web on Facebook and Twitter. Using the interactive #ProudofPFP, supporters will be urged to post what they are proud of or why they have pride in the work done by PFP.
