Melbourne Recital Centre and Gaynor Crawford announce that the talented and unique Martha Wainwright will return to Melbourne Recital Centre in June with her band. Fresh from highly successful performances in Europe and North America, Martha will present material from across her career to date, to her latest LP of original material, Come Home to Mama.

Robert Redford, Sundance Institute and AEG Europe announced today that following the success of the first-ever Sundance London film and music festival in April 2012, the event will return to the world famous London venue, The O2, for a further two years, in 2013 and 2014. Passes and ticket packages for the 2013 event will go on general sale on 9 November at www.sundance-london.com.

On Friday, May 3rd at 12 noon, Brave New World Enterprises, LLC will present a Special Pre-Broadway Workshop Table Reading of the new musical based on Aldous Huxley's novel, BRAVE NEW WORLD. The presentation, directed by SHERYL KALLER, with musical direction by JOHN McDANIEL, will take place at the Snapple Theatre Center (1627 Broadway) for invited industry audiences only.

Sundance Institute and The O2 announced today the programme of panels, feature films and short films for the second Sundance London film and music festival, 25-28 April at The O2. Passes and ticket packages are available at www.sundance-london.com, and individual tickets will be on sale from 9:00 a.m. GMT Friday 15 March.

Over 20 years in the making, singer songwriter Glen Hansard will release his first ever solo album, Rhythm and Repose, on Anti- Records today, June 19. Best known for his work with The Frames, The Swell Season and in the feature film Once, for which he won an Academy Award, Rhythm and Repose is Hansard's debut solo album and first album of new material since his 2009 release Strict Joy with The Swell Season. The album will be available for pre-sale at the Anti Store. In recent months Hansard has been seen in the documentary The Swell Season which has toured the film festival circuit this year, contributed two songs to the blockbuster soundtrack, The Hunger Games, and been active in the promotion of Once, The Musical which successfully opened on Broadway on March 18. This past Sunday Toronto was treated to a special outdoor concert by Rufus Wainwright, the man Elton John once called 'the greatest songwriter on the planet'. The concert was part of Luminato, and included the debut of 12 tracks from his upcoming album 'Out of the Game.' BWW was on hand to get photos from the gorgeous evening.
