On Monday, April 4th, the Theater People podcast welcomes Emmy nominated choreographer Spencer Liff. As a performer, Liff made his Broadway debut at age 11 in the musical BIG. He went on to appear in THE WEDDING SINGER, CRY BABY, EQUUS, and 9 TO 5: THE MUSICAL, taking on more and more responsibility along the way. He was the Associate Choreographer and Dance Captain for CRY BABY, and was the Dance Captain on EQUUS.
On Monday, March 28th, the Theater People podcast welcome's Broadway favorite and Fiddler on the Roof's Motel, Adam Kantor. The actor made his Broadway debut in 2008 as Mark in the closing cast of the Tony winning musical RENT directed by Michael Greif. The director, a mentor to Kantor, went on to cast him as a replacement in the role of Henry in the hit Broadway musical NEXT TO NORMAL.

Jami Gertz in Association with Homeboy Industries and The Rosenthal Theater at Inner-City Arts are thrilled to present the world premiere of a new play with music, FIGHTING SHADOWS, co-written and performed by 2015 Emmy nominee Richard Cabral ("American Crime"), with musical collaboration by Rocio Mendoza and directed and co-written by Robert Egan. The 52nd Street Project makes a difference in the lives of countless Hell's Kitchen (Clinton) kids by pairing them with theater professionals who mentor them through the creation of original theater. Perhaps the most poignant presentations made by The 52nd Street Project are those in its semi-annual Playmaking series, which features the Project's youngest Hell's Kitchen mentees-ten year-olds who have just begun their theatrical education-writing for accomplished professional actors and revealing their work to a public audience for the first time. Accomplished professional actors including Dan Butler, Carson Elrod, Daniel Jenkins, Matt Saldivar and others will perform in Fresh Start: The Rejuvenation Plays, the Project's Spring 2016 Playmaking show.

Judy Kuhn, the acclaimed actress and singer who stars in the groundbreaking Broadway musical Fun Home, will perform Finding Home, a concert to benefit The 52nd Street Project, which makes a difference in the lives of Hell's Kitchen (Clinton) kids by pairing them with theater professionals who mentor them through the creation of original theater. Before being cast in the leading role in the new Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, Brightman made his Broadway debut as an understudy in GLORY DAYS (the show that infamously closed on its opening night). He went on to replace in the role of Boq in the Broadway company of WICKED, Michael Wormwood in the Broadway company of MATILDA, and then joined the original Broadway company of BIG FISH.
