Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, recognized by U.S. Congress as a vital American "Cultural Ambassador to the World," visits Cleveland's PlayhouseSquare tonight, May 4 through May 6, led by dynamic Artistic Director Robert Battle. Following critically-acclaimed sold out performances in New York City, Ailey's extraordinary dancers will move audiences in a series of premieres and new productions that launch an exciting new era in Ailey history. Presented by the U.S. Bank Star Performance Series at PlayhouseSquare.

Manhattan Movement & Arts Center presents Dance Against Cancer on Monday, May 7, 2012 with cocktails at 6pm, a performance at 7pm, and a reception at 8:30pm at the Manhattan Movement & Arts Center at 248 W. 60th Street, NYC (between Amsterdam and West End Avenues) in the Lincoln Center area.

Today, the still Broadway-bound production has released an official statement noting that "The PRINCE OF BROADWAY company and creative team has been informed that production on the show will continue without Dancap's involvement. Further details will follow shortly."

The new show entitled "The Beginning" will kick off an eighteen month, sixty-six city arena North American tour.

Keigwin + Company (K+C) returns to The Joyce Theater, 175 Eighth Avenue, NYC, for its annual weeklong season including the World Premieres of two new dances on June 12- 17, 2012. Point Park University's Conservatory Dance Company will perform their annual concert at the Byham Theater in the Cultural District April 19 - 21, 2012. The concert will feature signature works choreographed by dance luminaries Val Caniparoli, Martha Graham, Kevin Iega Jeff and Ohad Naharin.

The Kennedy Center presents Come Fly Away in the Eisenhower Theater from April 18-29, 2012. Conceived, choreographed, and directed by Tony Award® winner and Kennedy Center Honoree Twyla Tharp (Movin' Out) and by special arrangement with the Frank Sinatra Family and Frank Sinatra Enterprises, Come Fly Away blends the legendary vocals of Frank Sinatra with a live on-stage big band and 14 of the world's finest dancers. The show's score combines classic and newly discovered vocal performances from the Sinatra archives, along with Sinatra's signature arrangements by Nelson Riddle, Billy May and Quincy Jones, among others, and brand new charts, for this fresh innovative musical. Press night will take place on Wednesday, April 18 at 7:30 p.m.

The Martha Graham Center of Contemporary Dance has leased studios, offices, and production facilities at the Westbeth Housing Development Fund Corporation, 55 Bethune Street (Greenwich Village), NYC. The facility has been the home of the Cunningham Dance Foundation since 1970 and continues to serve artists in multiple disciplines who live and work in the complex.

EgoPo Classic Theater ends its world premiere of The Golem. This one-of-a-kind devised theatrical event was created by the cast under the direction of EgoPo's literary director, Brenna Geffers. The second installment of EgoPo's season long Festival of Jewish Theater, The Golem was performed at the Prince Music Theater and closes tonight, April 15.
