Theatre Planners presents Greeks 6 - Trojans 5, a world premiere comedy with music written by Chuck Faerber, directed by Rick Kuhlman, similar in style and spirit to 'A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum' but whackier, involving Greek soldiers embedded in the fabled Trojan Horse. Although set in the ancient world, Greeks 6 - Trojans 5 is a hilarious, eccentric, and irreverent send-up of modern warfare, technology, and mores (yes - mores!). Beth Morrison Projects (BMP) and HERE have announced programming for the second annual PROTOTYPE: Opera/Theatre/Now festival, running January 8-18, 2014.

Juilliard Dance, under the direction of Lawrence Rhodes, opens its 2013-2014 season with New Dances PLUS: Edition 2013, Wednesday, December 11 through Sunday, December 15, 2013 in Juilliard's Peter Jay Sharp Theater and features Juilliard alumna Pina Bausch's Wind von West (Wind from the West) performed by the Senior Class, plus three world premiere commissions created for each of the classes of Juilliard's Dance Division. Next season's innovative choreographers are Juilliard alumnus Takehiro Ueyama (1st Year Dancers); Brian Brooks (2nd Year Dancers); and Juilliard alumnus Darrell Grand Moultrie (3rdYear Dancers).

In its 17th (and final) season, the BMCC Tribeca PAC's Artists-in-Residence (AIR) hallmark program enables four to eight emerging and established artists-writers, dancers, and composers-to create and develop new work over the course of one year. We are celebrating this tremendous program with a final presentation that is indicative of the cutting-edge work this program has strived to present. The artists have been chosen by a panel of established performing arts professionals from some of the city's highest regarded organizations such as LaMama, Here ARTS, Abrams Arts Center, The New York State Council on the Arts, River to River, and Dance New Amsterdam. The artistic disciplines the artists come form are dance, multimedia, music, and theater.

Atlantic Theater Company has announced four of its 2013-2014 season productions, featuring world premiere plays from Academy Award-winning film maker Ethan Coen and Tony Award nominated playwright Stephen Adly Guirgis, the American premiere of Roy Williams' stage adaptation of a classic Alan Sillitoe story and a revival of Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill's musical The Threepenny Opera staged by acclaimed director and choreographer Martha Clarke.

Signature Theatre has announced the seven productions for the 2013-14 Season at the company's Frank Gehry-designed Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). All subscriber tickets for the 2013-14 Season are $25 each as part of the Signature Ticket Initiative: A Generation of Access. Subscription packages start at just $125.

Bacharach Reimagined, with musical arrangements by Kyle Riabko and directed by Steven Hoggett; Fetch Clay, Make Man written by Will Power and directed by Des McAnuff; and Love and Information written by Caryl Churchill and directed by James Macdonald. In the coming weeks NYTW will announce an additional production that will round out the season.

Performances take place on Wednesday, April 3, Thursday, April 4, Friday, April 5, Saturday, April 6, at 8 PM, with a Sunday matinee on April 7 at 3 PM, in Juilliard's Peter Jay Sharp Theater.

Marie Curie, the only person, male or female, to win a Nobel Prize in two different scientific fields, a woman who discovered two elements, polonium and radium, and a woman whose personal life was rocked by tragedy and scandal, is the subject of Shirley Lauro's New York premiere drama, The Radiant, beginning previews tonight, February 21, at 8:00pm for an opening Saturday, February 23, at 8:00pm at the Theater at the 14th Street Y, 344 East 14th Street.

Just last night, the Signature Theatre Annual Gala celebration honored 2012-13 Residency One Playwright David Henry Hwang. Guests came together to pay tribute to the rich and varied body of work of David Henry Hwang, with special participation from B.D.
