Westport Country Playhouse Announces a Festival of Holiday Events
In celebration of the holiday season, Westport Country Playhouse announces a festival of eight special events, including concerts, dance, theater and films, beginning December 5 and continuing on selected Thursdays through Sundays until December 20.
Mark Setlock, currently appearing Off-Broadway in 'Heart of the City,' will be this week's guest on WGHT Radio's 'Curtain Call' Wednesday, June 17 at 9:30 a.m. Morning host Teisha Bader interviews stars of the best of Broadway and Off-Broadway every Wednesday morning on WGHT Radio (1500AM), North Jersey's oldies station.
Fern Kershon and Orange Thought Productions today announced that 2009 Academy Award nominee Melissa Leo would head the cast of their new production, Heart of the City, a new play by Eric Lane, directed by Martha Banta. Performances will begin June 11th at the Theatre at 30th Street, for a limited engagement. Additional casting will be announced shortly.

Atlantic Theater Company announces complete casting for the world premiere of Leslie Ayvazian's new comedy MAKE ME, directed by Atlantic Associate Artistic Director Christian Parker. Broadway veterans Anthony Arkin (I'm Not Rappaport); Candy Buckley (After The Fall); Jessica Hecht (Julius Caesar); J.R. Horne (The Crucible); Richard Masur (Democracy) and Ellen Parker (The Heidi Chronicles) will star in Atlantic's final production of its 2008-2009 season, beginning previews at Atlantic Stage 2 on May 19 and opening May 31.
