Sydney's most famous cabaret venue, Slide, will produce its first annual Cabaret Festival from Monday 6 February - Saturday March 3, 2012 announcing over 23 artists from the United States of America, France and Australia including interstate artists from Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.
At a ceremony last night, the winners of the 2011 Sydney Theatre Awards were announced. Over 300 members of the Sydney theatre community packed the auditorium at Paddington RSL to celebrate the best of Sydney theatre throughout 2011.
