The new production of RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN'S Cinderella will begin performances in January at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway at 53rd St). RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN'S Cinderella has music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, a new book by Douglas Carter Beane and original book by Oscar Hammerstein II. The musical is directed by Mark Brokaw. Josh Rhodes is choreographer. The cast and creative team met the press today, and BroadwayWorld's Richard Ridge was there to chat with the whole gang about the production. Tickets to RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN'S CINDERELLA will go on sale Monday, December 17 at 10 a.m. at the Broadway Theatre box office (1681 Broadway at 53rd St.) Now in rehearsals, RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN'S CINDERELLA will begin preview performances on January 25 with an opening night scheduled for March 3. The production will celebrate the box office opening with a live, in-studio performance by the musical's stars Laura Osnes and Santino Fontana on 'Fox and Friends' on Monday, December 17.

Rehearsals for RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN'S Cinderella will begin Thursday, December 6 with preview performances starting January 25 prior to Opening Night on Sunday, March 3. (The previously announced opening date of February 24 turned out to be Oscar Night.) The box office at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway at 53rd St.) will open Monday, December 17 at 10 a.m.

Complete casting has just been announced for the new production of RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN'S CINDERELLA, which begins performances in January on Broadway. RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN'S CINDERELLA will perform at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway at 53rd St).

The new production of RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN'S CINDERELLA will now open on Broadway on Sunday, February 24, 2013, with previews set to begin January 24. Originally scheduled to preview January 21 and open on February 21, the new preview/opening date results from a production schedule that was delayed as a result of Hurricane Sandy. Broadway star Marla Mindelle's (Cinderella, Sister Act) short film The Devil's Bitch has been named as an official selection in the 2012 Friar's Club Comedy Film Festival. Mindelle stars in the darkly comic musical short, which she co-created with Jonathan Parks-Ramage, New York based writer/producer.

Broadway veteran James Moye, who recently starred as the Lounge Singer Al in Dogfight and Sam Phillips in Million Dollar Quartet, will perform in the second annual "The Boogie in the Butt Benefit" concert tonight, October 14 at 8pm at the Triad Theater. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA).
