The Rrazz Room at Hotel Nikko has announced its listings of events and shows for March, 2010.

When I first reviewed Bark! The Musical at the Coast Playhouse in 2004 for reviewplays, I said it was a musical 'worth yip, yip, yipeaying about. Woof, woof, woof for joy!' Well, now it's on a much bigger stage in Redondo Beach, and because of a fantastic cast and creative team this very intimate little show makes a pleasantly effective transition to its new venue.

Civic Light Opera of South Bay Cities and Executive Producer James A. Blackman, III proudly presents a full scale production with orchestra of BARK! THE MUSICAL! conceived by David Troy Francis, with book & lyrics Mark Winkler and Gavin Geoffrey Dillard, lyrics by Robert Schrock, and music by David Troy Francis. Opening with previews February 10, 11, 12 with the Gala Press Opening night on Saturday, February 13 at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center. This is the first show in the 2010 Season for the Civic Light Opera.

The musical comedy revue 'Naked Boys Singing!' comes home to Los Angeles with performances beginning September 17 at the Macha Theatre in West Hollywood. Produced by Macha Theatre/Films-Odalys Nanin and TANK Productions, this international entertainment sensation opens on Friday, September 25 and will run through November 22 only.

Celebrated cabaret performer Jamie deRoy will host a special edition of the acclaimed 'MAC/ASAPC Songwriters' Showcase,' an ongoing series exploring the role of Songwriters in America on Saturday, October 31st from 2pm to 4Ppm at the Metropolitan Room. The afternoon program will focus on Songwriters from the West Coast with participants including Melissa Manchester, Mark Winkler, Shelly Markham and Geoffrey Leigh Tozer.
