Clara and her valiant Nutcracker Prince return to the stage along with the Sugar Plum Fairy, toy soldiers, villainous Mouse King and cast of over 90 performers. Stunning sets and an enormous Christmas tree light up the Paper Mill stage.

Oscar Wilde's masterpiece of modern comedy will be directed by David Schweizer and will run at the Millburn theatre from January 14 through February 15, 2009.

Paper Mill Playhouse (Mark S. Hoebee-Artistic Director, Mark W. Jones-Executive Director) is proud to announce a historic decision and a new partnership with the Township of Millburn. In March of 2007, Paper Mill Playhouse Management approached members of the Millburn Township Committee to engage in a financial partnership with the not-for-profit theater. After months of negotiations, the Millburn Township Committee voted unanimously last night to pass an ordinance allowing the township to purchase the land and buildings situated on Brookside Drive from Paper Mill Playhouse for nine-million dollars.

Jones-Executive Director) announces its mainstage production of Little Shop of Horrors, a musical written by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman. It's a musical comedy to die for - literally! The musical is based on Roger Corman's 1960 sci-fi comedy and includes several show-stopping numbers including 'Skid Row (Downtown),' 'Somewhere That's Green,' and 'Suddenly Seymour,' as well as the title song. Little Shop of Horrors will run at the Millburn theatre from June 4 through July 6, 2008.
