The Windham Theatre Guild will hold open auditions for the fresh and original comedy The Movie Game, winner of the Mark Twain Comedy Playwriting Award. Jack Goldberg loves movies! He loves them so much that he can't keep a job and still lives with his overbearing parents.

Now in it's 14th season - Making Books Sing, the New York-based company dedicated to turning books for young readers into musical works for the stage, will present the world premiere of the new family musical TEA WITH CHACHAJI - with Book & Lyrics by Gwynne Watkins and Music by Denver Casado, with performances set for the Lovinger Theatre at Lehman College in The Bronx; BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center in Manhattan; the Goldstein Theatre at Kingsborough Community College in Brooklyn; and Stanford Lively Arts in Stanford, CA.

Rubicon Theatre Company opens the 2009-2010 Season with the World Premiere of a musical from John Caird, the Tony and Olivier Award-Winning director of Les Misérables and Nicholas Nickleby, and the creators of Jane Eyre.

Academy Award nominee Hal Holbrook, whose Mark Twain Tonight! has defined the image and style of the great American author for thousands of theatergoers for over five decades, will perform his much-loved portrait of the great author on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. at the University of Hartford's Lincoln Theater.

Hank Morgan, living in Hartford, Connecticut in 1889, is rudely awakened by Sir Kay, a knight in the service of King Arthur, in another time and in another country.

Two New York premieres will be featured in a concert by the Temple University Symphony Orchestra on Friday, April 9, 2010, at 8 p.m. in Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall (Broadway at 65th St., Manhattan).

Famous for his one-act plays, Ives has been called "…a mordant comic who has put the play back in playwright..." by Time Magazine. 'AN EVENING OF IVES' will be performed Monday, January 18, and Tuesday, January 19.
