Cabaret performer Jamie deRoy hosted an evening of her Multi MAC Award-winning variety show, Jamie deRoy & friends, on Friday, December 28th (7PM) at Manhattan's cabaret hot-spot Metropolitan Room. Joining Jamie on this holiday evening were Broadway favorite Loni Ackerman; Singer, performer and concert sensation Michael Amante; two-time Emmy Award-winning comedian Judy Gold; Tony Award-nominated actress and singer Valarie Pettiford; Broadway veteran and Tony Award winner Tonya Pinkins and London's own stage, TV and cabaret star Giselle Wolf. Mark Stuart Dance Theatre (MSDT), held court on Thursday and Friday at the New 42nd Street Studios with the electrifying premiere performance of STANDARD TIME, before an audience of potential supporters. Orchestrating this first showing was Broadway producer Richard Winkler (Memphis, Nice Work) and award winning director/choreographer, Jerry Mitchell (Kinky Boots). Both men sit on the board of directors of MSDT.

Ovation, The Actors Fund, Dizzy Feet Foundation, Nigel and Simon Lythgoe hosted a special event to benefit The Dancers' Resource, an organization founded by Bebe Neubirth to provide a wide range of support to injured dancers. Among the many who contributed their talents to the evening's event, The Mark Stuart Dance Theatre and Executive Director Mark Stuart. He and his dance partner, Jamie Verazin performed one of the evening's most exuberant dances - The Libertango. Check out the hosts with Stuart and Verazin, and Stuart dancing with Verazin, below!

Capezio will celebrate 125 years of excellence with a one-night only special show on Monday, April 23 at 7:00 pm at New York City Center, 131 West 55 Street (btwn. 6th & 7th Ave) NYC. The show highlights some of history of Capezio. This is a dance show/celebration with a great diversity of American dance talent, including performers from: American Ballet Theatre, Ann Reinking, Bad Boys of Dance, Break the Floor, Cirque du Soleil, Dance Sport Ballroom, Desmond Richardson, Iluminate, Industrial Rhythm, Mark Stuart Dance Theater, MOMIX, Mr. Wiggles, New York City Ballet, Noah Racey and the New York Song and Dance Company, Rock Steady Crew, the Rockettes, So You Think You Can Dance, Tommy Tune, Travis Hall, and the World Cup All Stars Cheerleaders.
