This production of A Christmas Carol premiered to great acclaim in 2010 and features a script adapted by Mark Cuddy from Charles Dickens' novella with music and lyrics by Gregg Coffin, composer of Geva favorites, Five Course Love and Convenience.

The Cape Playhouse Producer and Chief Executive, Mark Cuddy, today announced four of the six shows for the much anticipated 2015 Summer Season, the historic Playhouse's 89th. In revealing the titles, he stated "We are excited that all six of our shows will be Cape Playhouse premieres! And continuing the tradition we have established over the previous 88 seasons, we will treat our audiences to both classic and contemporary entertainment."

The Cape Playhouse at the Cape Cod Center for the Arts has received an unprecedented $88,000 Challenge Grant, the largest grant ever received by the not-for-profit professional theater. The record setting matching grant, donated by a family foundation that wishes to remain anonymous, was given to celebrate The Playhouse's recently concluded summer season, its 88th.
