Voting has opened for the 2015 BroadwayWorld Milwaukee, WI Regional Awards! Check out the latest live stats as of November 27th. Nominations were reader-submitted and after the nomination period ended, BroadwayWorld's local editors proofed the list for eligibility and errors. Voting runs through December 31.

A riveting Romeo and Juliet theatergoers will remember when the sun sets the following evening regardless of what they have ever known or seen of this production before.

n Björklunden's lush garden situated in Bailey's Harbor, Wisconsin, Door Shakespeare conjures the Bard's classic tales with sophisticated simplicity. Each Saturday, the company presents both plays from their 2016 season so theatergoers may enjoy each selection in one night, with other individual performance scheduled throughout the week, planned perfectly by Artistic Director Amy J. Ludwigsen. When 5:00 p.m arrives, Shakespeare's The Tempest opens and begins high atop a balcony surrounding an age old tree with a trunk too immense to imagine, designed by Aaron Kopec This lofty perch transforms into the railings of a ship's deck-- the ship destroyed in the fierce storm Prospero conjures with his magic to send his enemies onto his island and into his power.

How will London be kept safe from crime?---When the illustrious Sherlock Holmes disappears from his daily routine of capturing public enemies in Victorian England, the city wonders if he really was murdered as the death rumor persists. In the First Stage World Premiere production SHERLOCK HOLMES: THE BAKER STREET IRREGULARS, the famous sleuth mysteriously shows his face during several sneak appearances to open the theater company's 28th season and prove Sherlock Holmes rises from the rumors alive and well.

What does the public or young people remember about slavery---pre or post Civil War? Last weekend, James DeVita's poignant play A Midnight Cry returned to First Stage at the Todd Wehr Theatre after premiering in 2003. A young Missouri slave, Lida June Anderson, must escape through the Underground Railroad while leaving her family behind, although she discovers other people willing to help her along the way to freedom.
