Shadows (1978–79) will be on view at the ground-level gallery space at Calvin Klein, Inc.'s headquarters, located at 205 West 39th Street. The work is being shown in New York City to coincide with the artist's retrospective at the Whitney Museum of American Art, before being reinstalled on long-term view at Dia:Beacon in 2019.

There were some people in the standing room only audience at Mr. Finn's Cabaret last night who were at an 'Evening With Jason Robert Brown' because they knew OF the Tony Award-winning composer and lyricist, but not because they were aware he is also an extraordinary performer. Jason's lyrics, melodies, harmonies, rhythms, and voice land on all the greatest of notes and the folks at Barrington Stage Company's cabaret couldn't contain their enthusiasm during his exciting show. His performance consisted of an eclectic mix of songs from Mr. Brown's acclaimed career. He started with a new composition titled 'Hope' from his latest album ' How We React And How We Recover' and then performed compositions from many of his Broadway shows (Parade, The Bridges of Madison County, Honeymoon in Vegas, The Last 5 Years, and Songs from a New World).

The international movement and entertainment company, Pilobolus (Executive Producer, Itamar Kubovy; Renee Jaworski and Matt Kent, artistic directors), kicks-off its first ever Pilobolus Five Senses Festival this weekend. A celebration of arts and ideas convening the company's vast network of creative, world-renowned collaborators in its own backyard of Washington, Connecticut, the festival begins Friday, July 27 and runs through August 11, rain or shine. FotoFocus, the Cincinnati-based non-profit arts organization that champions photography and lens-based art, is proud to announce new programming details for the fourth FotoFocus Biennial-the largest biennial of its kind in America. Marvelous Marilyn Maye has moved into the brand-new Birdland Theater for two weeks, much to the delight of the club's staff, as well as Marilyn's legion of fans. The "Queen of Cabaret" will be in residence for two weeks, running Tuesday to Saturday through August 4, with shows at 7pm each night.
