Rufus Norris' production of James Baldwin's The Amen Corner opened at the National Theatre and follows the life of Sister Margaret, a pastor of a Harlem church. It stars Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Eric Kofi Abrefa and Sharon D Clarke.

According to the Daily Mail, Marianne Jean-Baptiste will star in the National Theatre's The Amen Corner by James Baldwin. Directed by Rufus Norris, the show will begin previews next week at the Olivier Theatre.

ANGELS IN AMERICA opened Thursday, October 28 at the Peter Norton Space (555 West 42nd Street). The play began previews on September 14. Millennium Approaches and Perestroika, the two parts of ANGELS IN AMERICA, alternate in repertory.
