In anticipation of tonight's season 12 premiere of AMERICAN IDOL, host Ryan Seacrest stopped by THE TODAY SHOW. In the interview, Seacrest sheds some light on what to expect moving foward, as well as the infamous rivalry between new judges Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey. Check out the clip below!

It was another eventful night at Northport's stunning John W. Engeman Theatre as they hosted their ongoing Broadway Concert Series. Per tradition, during their dark week between shows, Producer and Host Stephen DeAngelis rounds up Broadway's best for an evening of songs and stories about their lives and careers. The incredible line up this time included Chester Gregory, Tari Kelly, Caissie Levy, Jessica Phillips, Rashidra Scott, and a special appearance by Tad Wilson.

AMERICAN IDOL executive producer Nigel Lythgoe spoke by phone about the long-running singing competition and revealed the big changes in store for the upcoming 12th season.

A new show titled Duality, paintings and mixed-media works by students of Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts' Portfolio Preparation Track program will be exhibited February 12- March 8, 2013 at New York City's Lobby Gallery, on the ground floor of 430 Park Avenue in Manhattan. Previous pieces by students from the renowned Long Island summer arts day camp have been presented at major public venues in New York City and on Long Island. The exhibit is free and open daily to the public 9 AM to 5 PM.

After exceeding box office expectations, former Saturday Night Live funny-girl Cheri Oteri has announced she will extend her four-week run in off Broadway's NEWSical The Musical for two additional weeks. Ms Oteri's last scheduled performance was originally scheduled for December 30th; due to popular demand, she will now continue through January 13th.
