HEATHERS: THE MUSICAL, the new musical stage adaptation of Daniel Waters' iconic 1989 dark comedy film, will receive its New York premiere this spring in a limited Off-Broadway engagement at New World Stages, 340 West 50th Street. Written by Olivier Award winner and Tony Award nominee Laurence O'Keefe (Legally Blonde, Bat Boy) and Emmy Award winner Kevin Murphy (Reefer Madness, "Defiance", "Desperate Housewives"),HEATHERS: THE MUSICAL is directed by famed stage and screen director Andy Fickman (Reefer Madness; films: Parental Guidance, She's The Man), with choreography by Emmy Award winner Marguerite Derricks (Fame, Charlie's Angels, Austin Powers films). While ballet-themed, performing arts-centric ABC Family series Bunheads starring Broadway headliner Sutton Foster unfortunately has been cancelled by the cable network, creator Amy Sherman-Palladino has created a special send-off video salute spotlighting the dances, dancers and dancing that made the cult series so memorable as a gift to the fans.
Frank Wildhorn's WONDERLAND, which opened on Broadway last Spring, will make its international premiere at Tokyo's Aoyama Theatre in Fall 2012. Set to star in the production are Kei Aran and Megumi Hamada. Hiromi Suzuki will direct.

The 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards were last night, September 18. Executive-produced by Mark Burnett, the 63RD PRIMETIME EMMY® AWARDS were hosted by GLEE's Jane Lynch, who kicked the night off with a fabulous production number choreographed by Marguerite Derricks. Titled 'TV is a Vast Wonderland,' the song was written by Adam Schlesinger and David Javerbaum, who also wrote the opening number from this year's Tony Awards and Broadway's CRY BABY.
Marguerite Derricks has been tapped to choreograph the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards which will be broadcast from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 18th, 2011 (8:00 PM EDT live / 5:00 PM PDT live) on Fox. Marguerite previously choreographed the 58th Emmy Awards hosted by Conan O'Brien. Derricks will work with host Jane Lynch (Glee, Criminal Minds).

Broadway's WONDERLAND played its final performance this Sunday, May 15 at 3pm at the Marquis Theatre in front of a packed house including many Broadway notables. The show played 31 previews and 33 regular performances. WONDERLAND began previews Monday, March 21 and opened Sunday, April 17. The production will play a National tour. Darren proposed to Janet on stage right after the curtain call with the entire audience in the house. Janet screamed 'I said yes!' In the audience, there were tears of joy mixed with the sadness for the show closing. Now, the first videos are making their way onto YouTube!

Broadway's WONDERLAND is the new musical inspired by the classic fairy tale 'Alice in Wonderland.' Karen Mason, who plays the Queen of Hearts, and three of her ladies in waiting -- Natalie Hill, Morgan James, and Kate Loprest -- perform on the Good Day stage.
Broadway's WONDERLAND will offer a series of Talkbacks for all audience members May 10 through 12. Composer Frank Wildhorn will lead the Talkback after the performance on Tuesday, May 10; Karen Mason (The Queen of Hearts) and Kate Shindle (The Mad Hatter) will lead the one after the evening performance on Wednesday, May 11, and Janet Dacal (Alice) and Darren Ritchie (Jack, the White Knight) will lead the one after the performance on Thursday, May 12.
