Steppenwolf Theatre Company presents its 6th annual First Look Repertory of New Work-three developmental productions of new plays presented in rotating repertory playing October 27 - November 14, 2010 in Steppenwolf's Merle Reskin Garage Theatre, 1624 N. Halsted St. The 2010 festival will also include three free readings by emerging playwrights presented November 5-7, 2010. Tickets for all productions are currently on-sale.

Fresh from her Broadway run of Hair, Annaleigh Ashford returned to the Broadway at Birdland concert series with the musical magic of James Sampliner, on Monday, July 12. Annaleigh dazzled the packed house with popular classics by everyone from Doris Day to Janis Joplin. With an emphasis on the sounds of the 60's and 70's, Ashford and Sampliner performed 'It's Magic,' 'Mona Lisa's and Mad Hatters,' 'Beautiful,' 'When I'm 64,' and many more. Margot Leverett and the Klezmer Mountain Boys kick off SummerNights on July 1 followed by Ansambl Mastika on July 8, and The Sexteto Rodriguez Cuban-Jewish All Stars on July 15. The Jewish Museum is located at Fifth Avenue at 92nd Street, Manhattan. Each concert begins at 7:30 pm.
