This marks the start of the Kitchen's 23rd Season and the fourth in its beautiful, LEED-certified, 99-seat space located at 417 W. Martin Luther King, Jr. Street, Ithaca, NY. Led by Artistic Director Rachel Lampert and Managing Director Stephen Nunley, the Kitchen Theatre Company is a professional Equity Theater that produces new and recent plays. And now for something completely different! The next offering on the Kitchen Theatre's 22nd Main Stage season is a world premiere by award winning playwright, actor and HBO Def Poet Brian Dykstra*. A solo performance that combines standup comedy with storytelling, rabble rousing and down-home preaching, Brian Dykstra Selling Out runs November 28th to December 16th at the Kitchen Theatre in downtown Ithaca. Previews are November 28, 29, and 30, Opening Night is December 1st, and performances continue through December 16, 2012.

CALL ME WALDO -- a new play by Rob Ackerman (TABLETOP) -- will debut Off-Broadway in a production by The Working Theater with preview performances starting February 14 prior to its official opening night on February 22 at the June Havoc Theatre (312 W. 36 St. in Manhattan), it has been announced by Mark Plesent, Working Theater's Producing Artistic Director.
