The New York Times is reporting that Alec Baldwin will return to Broadway in the Spring of 2013 in a new production of OPRHANS, to be directed by Tony-winner Daniel Sullivan. There is no word yet on a theatre or additional cast members for the production.
The Amoralists are currently presenting the World Premiere of The Bad and the Better, written by Derek Ahonen, directed by Obie Award winner Daniel Aukin and featuring The Amoralists acting ensemble. The acclaimed downtown theater company moved uptown for this six-week Off-Broadway run that began on June 14, and continues through July 21 at The Peter Jay Sharp Theater, located at 416 West 42 Street between 9 and 10 Avenues in New York City. The world renowned Imagination Workshop, founded by Artistic Director and award-winning actress, Margaret Ladd, and her husband, playwright Lyle Kessler, in association with New Directions, Inc., an organization for displaced veterans, will present an original one-act play, 'Spice of Life,' at the Greenway Court Theatre; 544 N. Fairfax Avenue; Los Angeles, CA 90036 on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 16 and 17, 2009 at 8:00 p.m.
