On Wednesday evening, May 20, 2015, a superb cast of ABT principal and soloist dancers performed Lar Lubovitch's dramatic ballet, Othello, A dance in Three Acts, premiered by the Company on May 23, 1997 and now presented to commemorate its 75th anniversary.

Ric Burns' new documentary American Masters -- American Ballet Theatre: A History premieres nationwide Friday, May 15, 9-10:30 p.m. on PBS (check local listings) in honor of the ballet company's 75th anniversary. The film features American Ballet Theatre Soloist Misty Copeland, who has been named by TIME Magazine to the 2015 TIME 100 -- its annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world -- and is featured on the cover.

This summer's hot dance ticket will be the ARDANI 25 DANCE GALA at the Coliseum on Friday 17th and Saturday 18th July, presented by producer and impresario Sergei Danilian (Ardani Artists). The evening features an all-star line-up including Natalia Osipova, Edward Watson, Ivan Vasiliev, Marcelo Gomes, Denis Matvienko, Joaquin De Luz and Friedemann Vogel in three exciting and diverse contemporary pieces.

Producers Erin Fogarty and Daniel Ulbricht have partnered with the American Cancer Society to present the 5th annual Dance Against Cancer on Monday, April 27, 2015 at the AXA Equitable Theater, 787 Seventh Avenue (between 51st and 52nd Streets). VIP guests will enjoy cocktails and passed hors d'oeuvres at 6pm, followed by world premiere dance performances at 7pm from companies including New York City Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Gallim Dance, members of NYC's Broadway community and more. Tickets are $150 for General Admission, $300 for VIP and $500 for Preferred VIP with dress rehearsal access and are available at dacny.org. All proceeds from this event will benefit research initiatives as well as all patient and family service programs that American Cancer Society funds. Since its inauguration, Dance Against Cancer has raised over $325,000 in support of the American Cancer Society.

The festival, produced by and benefiting Dancers Responding to AIDS, is performed outdoors on a picturesque waterfront stage in Fire Island Pines, NY.

New Adventures are delighted to announce that international ballet superstar, Marcelo Gomes will guest star as 'Luca', the title role in the internationally acclaimed and multi-award winning dance thriller "THE CAR MAN" during the four week summer season at Sadler's Wells from 14 July to 9 August 2015. He will alternate the role with the previously announced Jonathan Ollivier and Chris Trenfield; all three dancers worked together last year, sharing the role of 'The Swan' when Marcelo Gomes made his debut with New Adventures in the Tokyo Season of Matthew Bourne's Swan Lake. American Ballet Theatre returns to Segerstrom Center with the World Premiere of the classic ballet The Sleeping Beauty as choreographed by Artist in Residence Alexei Ratmansky. ABT's return to Orange County from tonight, March 3 - 8 marks the company's 23rd visit to the Center.
