When I first saw "If/Then" in New York I thought the same thing I think now, "Cute show but it'll never make it without Idina Menzel since the show is basically a vehicle for her." Well, I guess the producers of the tour agreed with me since more than half of the original leads including Menzel are on tour with the show currently at the Paramount Theatre.

Transport Group's new theatre piece has a seven member ensemble portraying the famous deafblind woman.

Transport Group will soon present Three Days to See, conceived and directed by Jack Cummings III, based on the words of Helen Keller.  Three Days to See is scheduled to begin performances July 12, open July 26, and finish its run August 16 at Theatre 79, 79 East 4 Street. 

IF/THEN, which was named the 'Best Musical of the Year' by New York Magazine, will play its final Broadway performance Today, Sunday, March 22 at 3:00pm. Upon closing, the musical will have played 29 previews and 401 performances. Below, take a look back at the show's journey to Broadway!

Allegiance - A New American Musical has been eyeing a Broadway run since it premiered at San Diego's Old Globe last fall. Since then, a New York City reading was held, led by Lea Salonga, George Takei and Telly Leung, all of whom starred in the San Diego production; there was also a recent backers screening in Austin. Oconer Navarro, Kamala Sankaram, Tidtaya Sinutoke (with Ty Defoe) and Jeff Tang.

The 26th Annual Festival of New Musicals, presented by the National Alliance For Musical Theatre (NAMT), kicked off with THE 46TH MINUTE, a concert hosted by Lindsay Mendez and featuring performances by Heidi Blickenstaff, Doreen Montalvo, Mamie Parris, Bryce Ryness, and more. Musical presentations started October 23 at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street) and included Beautiful Poison, Cubamor, Great Wall, How To Break, Mary Marie, The Noteworthy Life of Howard Barnes, String and Stu For Silverton. Today, Actors' Equity Association named IF/THEN the recipient of the 'Extraordinary Excellence in Diversity on Broadway' Award for the 2013-14 theatrical season. The award honors shows that exemplify and promote the union's founding principles of diversity, inclusion and equal opportunity for all who work in the theatre. Accepting the award on behalf of the IF/THEN producers and creative team was the production's Casting Director, Bernard Telsey. Scroll down for a photo!

The National Alliance For Musical Theatre (NAMT) is proud to announce final casting for the 26th Annual Festival of New Musicals. Michael Cassara Casting serves as the resident casting office for the 26th Annual Festival of New Musicals, taking place on Thursday, October 23, 2014 and Friday, October 24, 2014 at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street). Online Festival registration ends Friday, October 17.

Idina Menzel, LaChanze, Jenn Colella and the company of Broadway's If/Then just celebrated a special milestone at the Richard Rodgers Theatre. The company gathered backstage and marked the musical's 100th performance with cake, and BroadwayWorld was there for the festivities. Check out photos below!

Well this is it, Dear Readers. The trip has come to an end (sigh) and even as I type this I am winging back to the Emerald City and leaving the Mothership behind. It's been an exciting trip with tons of thrilling theater. But before we wrap up, we still need to talk about one more show, "If/Then'.
