Don't Quit Your Night Job recently returned to New York City at its new home, 54 Below. Joining creators Steve Rosen, Sarah Saltzberg and Dan Lipton were Derrick Baskin (Memphis), Jen Cody (The Frog Princess), Lea DeLaria (Orange Is The New Black), Tony Nominee Hunter Foster (Hands On A Hardbody),Asmeret Ghebremichael (The Book Of Mormon), Jackie Hoffman (Xanadu), Tony Nominee Celia Keenan-Bolger(Glass Menagerie), Jason Kravits (Relatively Speaking) ,Zachary Levi (First Date), Caleb McLaughlin (The Lion King), Maurice Murphy (Motown), Brynn O'Malley (Annie, Honeymoon In Vegas) and Emily Rosenfeld (Annie), with DJ's Andrew Andrew (Girls), and a special visit from David Rossmer. Just last night, Jeremy Jordan, Krysta Rodriguez, Andy Mientus, Carrie Manolakos starred in HIT LIST at 54 Below. The second season of NBC's Smash featured a fictional new Broadway musical called HIT LIST, written by characters played by Jeremy Jordan (Newsies, The Last 5 Years) and Andy Mientus (Carrie, Spring Awakening), and starring Krysta Rodriguez (First Date,The Addams Family). The fictional musical opened at Manhattan Theatre Workshop and then transferred to Broadway, opening at the Barrymore Theatre and winning seven Tony Awards.
HIT LIST, a modern fable about identity and the price of fame, tells the tragic love story of a wannabe pop singer who transforms herself to become a star and the hidden songwriter she uses to get there - but at what cost? Check out photos from the special concert event below!

CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY Breaks West End Record for Highest Weekly Sales

Last week (Monday 28th October to Saturday 2nd November 2013) Roald Dahl's' Charlie and the Chocolate Factory broke the West End record for the highest reported weekly gross sales. Over the course of the nine show week almost 20,000 people saw the musical at Theatre Royal Drury Lane achieving a record value of £1,062,606. This figure also breaks the show's own Drury Lane record set in August 2013. Since the box office opened in October 2012 the show has taken £21million in ticket sales and is now booking through to November 2014.
