Oliver Queen (series star Stephen Amell) may not arrive on television screens until October 10 in the hard-hitting new action series Arrow (Wednesdays 8/7c The CW), but today fans at Comic-Con learned the identity of one of the show's upcoming villains: China White. During the Arrow panel session in Ballroom 20, executive producers Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg and David Nutter revealed that Kelly Hu (X2: X-Men United, The Vampire Diaries) will guest star in the role in an upcoming episode of the highly anticipated drama (airdate to be announced). The character of China White - a South Pacific drug cartel leader who Oliver Queen encounters during his five years marooned on a remote island - first appeared in the Green Arrow: Year One origin series graphic novels by Andy Diggle and Jock, published by DC Comics.

According to TVLine.com, actor Cuba Gooding Jr. is set to star in Fox's upcoming drama pilot GUILTY. The project marks Gooding's first acting role on network TV.
As first reported on TVLine.com, The CW has given the greenlight to a SEX AND THE CITY prequel series to be titled 'The Carrie Diaries'. The series will come from 'Gossip Girls' executive producers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage. It will center on the life of Carrie Bradshaw during her high school years.
As first reported by Deadline.com, the Fox network has given the go-ahead for a pilot from 'It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia' creator and star Rob McElhenney. The single-camera comedy, entitled LIVING LOADED, will be executive produced by Rob Rosell.
The film is based on the DC Comics superhero and will be directed by Martin Campbell and produced by DonaldDe Line and Greg Berlanti. Berlanti also wrote the script with Marc Guggenheim and Michael Green. Rewrites were done by Michael Goldenberg and the release is set for June 17th.
