Anoche por fín tuvo lugar en el Teatro Rialto de Madrid el estreno del nuevo musical de la productora Drive Entertainemnt, 'Más de 100 Mentiras' basado en las canciones de Joaquín Sabina. Al evento asistieron caras conocidas como Miguel Bosé, Ángela Carrrasco, Joan Manuel Serrat, Nena Daconte o el propio cantautor de los temas incluídos en el show.

Hoy se ha presentado en el Teatro Rialto, en pleno corazón de la Gran Vía Madrileña, el musical con las canciones de Joaquín Sabina MAS DE 100 MENTIRAS, producido por Ángel Suárez y Jose María Cámara para Drive Entertainment, dirigido y escrito por David Serrano. Ayer fue la primera previa y el estreno será el próximo 6 de Octubre.

El musical basado en las canciones de Joaquín Sabina, Más de 100 Mentiras, comienza sus ensayos generales esta semana y, con ellos, la última fase del proceso creativo antes del comienzo de las funciones previas al estreno, que será el próximo 6 de octubre en el Teatro Rialto de Madrid.

Del 8 al 11 de Septiembre, el Arriaga acoge la gira de 'Al Final del Arco Iris' con Natalia Dicenta, en el papel de Judy Garland, Miguel Rellán y Javier Mora. La obra, que refleja los últimos meses de vida de la malograda actriz y cantante, se estrenó el 21 de Enero en el Teatro Marquina de Madrid.

Juan Pablo Di Pace, Álex Barahona, Guadalupe Lancho, Víctor Massán , Carlos Santos, Diego Paris y Felipe García Vélez protagonizarán 'Más de 100 Mentiras' el nuevo musical de Drive, basado en las canciones de Joaquín Sabina que se estrenará el próximo 6 de Octubre.

Spoleto Festival USA 2010 came to a close on Sunday with strong attendance at the Festival Finale at Middleton Place. Despite temperatures soaring in the upper 90s, more than 3,000 people attended the annual event, which featured a Carolina Chocolate Drops concert followed by fireworks over the historic Ashley River plantation.

Emmanuel Villaume, the Christel DeHaan Music Director for Opera & Orchestra for Spoleto Festival USA, announced at today's full board meeting that he will leave his position after the current season. 'I love this Festival deeply and I have always said that if I could not give the organization what I consider to be the necessary time, I would step down from my position,' said Villaume. Recently appointed Chief Conductor of the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra, Maestro Villaume also serves as Artistic Director and Chief Conductor of the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra and is a highly sought-after guest conductor worldwide.

The Spoleto Festival has announced its performance schedule for its 2010 season which will be held from May 28 to June 13.

Spoleto Festival USA announced today its complete 2009 program that will see 120 performing arts performances take place in Charleston during the 17-day season, May 22 - June 7. Tickets for the 2009 Spoleto Festival USA are on sale now.
