Under the direction of Charles O. Anderson, Andrea Beckham and Dorothy O'Shea Overbey, The University of Texas at Austin's award-winning dance company Dance Repertory Theatre returns to the stage in Fall For Dance, November 12-15 at the B. Iden Payne Theatre.

She is the young woman counting rhythms silently, whispering mysteriously and distantly on the metro ride home after work. He is the young man moving to a different rhythm behind the cashier, his head bobbing like a life raft on the high seas, far from land. They are the emerging artists, the millennial, contemporary, twenty-something generation of up-and-coming thinkers, movers, shakers, dreamers, drifters and lovers.

Under the direction of Charles O. Anderson, Andrea Beckham and Dorothy O'Shea Overbey, The University of Texas at Austin's award-winning dance company Dance Repertory Theatre returns to the stage in Fall For Dance, November 12-15 at the B. Iden Payne Theatre. An exploration of contemporary ballet, Fall For Dance features works by artistic director of The Foundry, Alex Ketley; former dancer with Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet, Manuel Vignoulle; and Texas Theatre and Dance faculty members David Justin and Andrea Beckham.

The University of Texas at Austin Department of Theatre and Dance announces the 2015-2016 season, a striking range of works including a cherished romantic comedy, a decadent musical, bold, new choreography, and the transformative story of a young girl's perseverance while under the darkest shadow of war.

Fire Island Dance Festival returned for its 21st edition July 17-19, 2015, with some of the most talked-about world-class dance companies, raising a record-breaking $544,555 for Dancers Responding to AIDS, a program of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Inception to Exhibition (ITE), NYC's interdisciplinary arts organization fostering artist incubation, announces its second outdoor dance festival, Bryant Park Presents Modern Dance. Presented in collaboration with Bryant Park, twelve prestigious and celebrated modern dance companies will be presented on four Fridays, June 19 through July 10. Highlights of Festival 2015 include Three Acts, Two Dancers, One Radio Host, a special dance and radio stage production starring Ira Glass, host of This American Life; the return of Nederlands Dans Theater 2; the world premiere of American Ballet Theatre principal dancer Daniil Simkin's INTENSIO; Cuban contemporary ensemble Malpaso Dance Company, performing with GRAMMY Award-winning pianist and composer Arturo O'Farrill and the Afro Latin Jazz Ensemble; and the launch of Martha Graham Dance Company's 90th Anniversary, including a world premiere by eminent choreographer Mats Ek.
