Bayou City Theatrics Presents BROOKLYN, Now thru 7/19
by BWW News Desk - Jul 10, 2014

BROOKLYN, a modern-day fairytale, is the story of an orphaned Parisian girl in search of her father who can finish the 'Unfinished Lullaby' that her mother sang to her as a small child. Determined to find the one man able to complete her song, she travels to America in search of her father and lands in the city that bears her name, Brooklyn. Using her gift of song, Brooklyn performs on the greatest stages of New York City in hopes that her father will hear the'Unfinished Lullaby.' Utilizing incredible trash-to-treasure design and stagecraft, a band of homeless singers and storytellers transform a street corner at the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge into their stage. Using only their surroundings and a whole lot of soul, they will tell you the story of Brooklyn. Or as they like to call it, their 'sidewalk fairytale.'
