On next week's new episode of COMMUNITY, titled 'Alternative History of the German Invasion,' after losing out in registration for 'The History of Ice Cream,' the study group begins their European History class with Professor Noel Cornwallis (Malcolm McDowell, 'Entourage,' 'Franklin & Bash'). 'Alternative History of the German Invasion' airs February 28 at 8 p.m. on NBC.

USA Network Starts Production on GRACELAND

Inspired by a true story, USA's new one-hour drama, GRACELAND, begins production in Fort Lauderdale, FL this week. From Executive Producer and WHITE COLLAR creator, Jeff Eastin, the series is slated to film 11 episodes (in addition to the completed pilot). GRACELAND stars Daniel Sunjata ('Rescue Me') and Aaron Tveit ('Les Miserables') and will bow summer 2013 on USA.

Motion Picture Academy To Honor Stanley Kubrick

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will celebrate the life and career of filmmaker Stanley Kubrick on Wednesday, November 7, at 7:30 p.m. at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills. Hosted by Malcolm McDowell, the evening features film clips and personal remembrances by his friends and collaborators, including Paul Mazursky, Ryan O'Neal and Matthew Modine. The salute is presented in association with the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), leading off its retrospective screening series '2012: A Kubrick Odyssey,' and in conjunction with its exhibition 'Stanley Kubrick.'
