The full casts are today announced for English Touring Theatre, Royal & Derngate, Northampton and Rose Theatre Kingston's production of Sam Holcroft's Rules for Living and English Touring Theatre and Mercury Theatre Colchester's production of Conor McPherson's The Weir, twenty years after its world premiere at the Royal Court.
English Touring Theatre and Mercury Theatre Colchester today announce the creative team for their production of Conor McPherson's The Weir. Adele Thomas directs the production and she is joined by Madeleine Girling as Designer, Lee Curran as Lighting Designer and Richard Hammarton as Composition and Sound Designer, with casting by Ginny Schiller.
Adapted from Dick King-Smith's much-loved children's novel which inspired the Oscar-winning 1995 film, Babe, The Sheep-Pig will be brought to life on stage in an enchanting new production, embarking on a major UK Tour in 2017 following a Christmas season at Polka Theatre. Featuring stunning puppetry, an original score and an utterly charming 'baa-ber sheep' quartet, the tour will launch from West Yorkshire Playhouse on Monday 13 February and run until September 2017.
