Bassist/Composer Billy Mohler returns his Focus to jazz after a successful career in rock, pop and R&B production and songwriting. Mohler's leader debut Focus is due out this March via Make Records, featuring a stellar chordless quartet with Shane Endsleyand Nate Wood of Kneebody and Chris Speed of a MULTITUDE of ensembles.

THE PITMEN PAINTERS Continues Theatrical Outfit's Season Of Beauty

Theatrical Outfit, located at the Balzer Theater at Herren's on Luckie Street in downtown Atlanta, continues its 2018-2019 Season of Beauty with the Atlanta premiere of The Pitmen Painters, British writer Lee Hall's (Billy Elliot) dramatization of William Feaver's book about a real-life group of English miners from the Geordie region who become unexpected stars of the high society art circles of London between the World Wars. Both comedic and stirring, The Pitmen Painters, directed by Adam Koplan (Artistic Director of Flying Carpet Theatre Company and director of The Outfit's 2018 hit Perfect Arrangement), features an all-Atlanta ensemble and runs February 27 - March 24, 2019.

Tim Allen recently wrapped the 6th season of his hit sitcom "Last Man Standing" on ABC. He can currently be seen performing stand-up to sold-out crowds at venues across the country. Allen can next be seen starring in Netflix's new dark comedy film "El Camino Christmas" along with Vincent D'Onofrio, Luke Grimes, Dax Shepard, Kimberly Quinn and Jimmy O. The film is expected to be released later this year around Christmas. He will also be reprising his role as Buzz Lightyear in "Toy Story 4" set for release in 2019.

New York City-based classical dance company Tom Gold Dance will present its annual spring season, Wednesday, April 3 and Thursday, April 4, 2019 at The Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College. The new season will include a World Premiere by Tom Gold Dance Founder and Director Tom Gold to music of Leonard Bernstein and the New York City Premiere of Gold's Blind Revelry to Stephen Sondheim's rarely performed Concertino for two pianos. The Company will also present a revival of Gold's Counterpoint to music of Steve Reich, last performed in 2017.
Showtime Picks Up Another Season of SHAMELESS

On the heels of the recent premiere of the second half of season nine of its hit comedy series SHAMELESS, SHOWTIME has announced its most-watched show has been renewed for a 10th season. The renewal will make SHAMELESS the longest running series ever on SHOWTIME. Season 10 will mark the return of television's favorite dysfunctional family The Gallaghers that will include series stars Oscar® nominee and Emmy® and SAG Award winner William H. Macy, Jeremy Allen White, Ethan Cutkosky, Emma Kenney, Christian Isaiah and Cameron Monaghan. Production on season 10 will begin in 2019. The announcement was made today by Gary Levine, President of Entertainment, Showtime Networks Inc., at the Television Critics Association's Winter Press Tour.

The event will be hosted by Cara Buono, co‐star of the hit Netflix series Stranger Things, and Emmy‐ nominee for her role on Mad Men. The awards honor the accomplishments of extraordinary individuals and corporations who have made an impact on people with disabilities and have inspired others through their professional and charitable endeavors. The Presser Foundation is pleased to sponsor the February 17, 2019 Philadelphia Youth Orchestra (PYO) Concert being held in Verizon Hall at The Kimmel Center for Performing Arts. Beginning at 3 p.m., the concert celebrates the legacy of Michael Stairs, the renowned organist who has performed worldwide and made such a major impact in the Philadelphia area. Michael Stairs offered his musical contributions to PYO and last performed the Strauss and Saint-Saens selections in 2014 at the PYO 75th Anniversary concert being repeated at this PYO concert. The February 2019 concert features the extraordinary talent of two special guests - David Kim, Concertmaster of the Philadelphia Orchestra, and Peter Richard Conte, renowned organist. It will showcase the 130 members of the ensemble, between the ages of 14 to 21 who are conducted by the esteemed Maestro Louis Scaglione.
