With an immense and exciting programme of 265 shows, Pleasance has programmed a bumper year for you to enjoy this summer with theatre, comedy, music, circus, family shows, magic and dance. There's surely nowhere else you'd rather be!
Some performers walk on stage. Other performers make an 'entrance,' and then there is Luna Manzanares Nardo, the star and 'raison d'etre' for the touring production of CARMEN LA CUBANA. Last night at the Admiralspalast, this gorgeous embodiment of Latin sensuality with a voice to match didn't 'make an entrance,' but rather devoured the entire production, the city of Berlin and most-probably the majority of northern Germany with a sexy blink of her eye and one quick flick of her pericon.
Theatre du Chatelet presents Carmen la Cubana with arrangements and orchestration by HAMILTON's Alex Lacamoire and directed by Manny Schvartzman, now running thru April 30. BroadwayWorld has a first look below!
On the 26th March, Drama Desk Winner and Tony Award Nominee Christopher Renshaw (The King and I, Taboo, We Will Rock You) will direct a private industry reading of CARMENCITA JONES at the Roundabout Rehearsal Rooms on 45th Street, New York.
