It's undeniably/unavoidably* panto season in theatreland (*delete as per your personal proclivity). Qdos Entertainment's production of Dick Whittington at the London Palladium has been hotly anticipated following last year's triumphant Cinderella. So does it live up to expectations?

Qdos Entertainment's production of Dick Whittington runs at the London Palladium for five weeks over the Festive season, until Sunday 14 January 2018. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast, featuring Broadway-bound Charlie Stemp (Hello, Dolly!) in the title role, in action below!

Julian Clary (Spirit of the Bells), Elaine Paige (Queen Rat), Ashley Banjo (The Sultan) and Diversity (The Sultan's Special Advisors),Paul Zerdin (Idle Jack), Nigel Havers (Captain Nigel), Gary Wilmot (Sarah the Cook), Charlie Stemp (Dick Whittington), Emma Williams (Alice Fitzwarren) and Lukus Alexander (Eileen the Cat) comprise the principal casting for Dick Whittington at the London Palladium this Christmas.

Emma Williams and Lukus Alexander complete the principle casting for the London Palladium Pantomime this Christmas playing the role of Alice Fitzwarren and Eileen the Cat respectively. 

Iconic rock opera Tommy visits the Crucible from Today 22 June - Saturday 1 July, featuring two new songs written by legendary lead songwriter of The Who, Pete Townshend.

This Saturday 17 June at 2:30pm, Theatre Royal Stratford East is proud to be live-streaming the iconic musical, Tommy, into adult social care homes across the UK as part of their commitment to the Ramps on the Moon initiative to make theatre accessible to all.

Iconic rock opera Tommy visits the Crucible from Thursday 22 June - Saturday 1 July, featuring two new songs written by legendary lead songwriter of The Who, Pete Townshend.

Lead songwriter of The Who Pete Townshend has written two new songs exclusively for the touring production of Tommy, produced by the New Wolsey Theatre in co-production with Ramps on the Moon and directed by Kerry Michael. A new version of 'Amazing Journey' will open the show, and after her iconic Act One song Acid Queen, played by original cast member Peter Straker, will make a return in Act Two with a new torch song.

After playing the Narrator in the original West End production in 1979, Peter Straker returns to the iconic rock opera THE WHO'S TOMMY as the Acid Queen.
