It will open Friday, March 4th, 2011 at 8 p.m. and run Thursday through Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 7 p.m. Tickets are $18 on Thursday and Sunday, $20 on Friday, and $22 on Saturday. There will be no performance on Thursday, November 25th. There will be previews on Wednesday & Thursday March 2nd and 3rd at 8 p.m. Tickets for previews are $5. We will close on Sunday, April 10th, 2011 at 7 p.m. There is parking available in the Mobil Gas Station across from the theater at a fee determined by Mobil Gas. In September 2009, Barrel of Monkeys began its twelfth year of serving at-risk Chicago public school students with writing workshops that lead to professionally-performed theatrical presentations in the show That's Weird, Grandma.

Barrel of Monkey's eighth annual Fancy Schmancy benefit will be held on Friday, October 16, 2009, 7-11 p.m., at the Chicago Cultural Center, G.A.R. Hall and Rotunda, 78 E. Washington St., in Chicago.

Barrel of Monkeys (BOM) announces their eighth annual Celebration of Authors event on Tuesday, June 9, 2009, 7-10 p.m., at the Athenaeum, 2936 N. Southport Ave., Chicago IL 60657. This special end-of-the-school-year celebration honoring BOM's student authors and their families includes about 75 minutes of youth-generated scenes (list available on request a week before the event), followed by a post-show party with refreshments. Audience members have the rare opportunity to meet the authors, the teachers and principals from the schools BOM members have worked with in this school year.
