TeeRico by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Montclair Film, GrassROOTS Community Foundation, the First Congregational Church and Nassan's Place were honored at Vanguard Theater Company's Annual Gala at The Loft in Montclair on November 3, 2018, at 7PM. Collaboraction will reunite 200+ Chicago artists involved in the creation of this year's third annual PEACEBOOK Festival for a one-day-only, marathon celebration showcase of more than 20 world premiere short works about peace Sunday, October 7 at The Chop Shop, 2033 W. North Avenue in Bucktown. 

Presented by Collaboraction, Chicago's social issue-driven contemporary theater, PEACEBOOK is a free, city-wide festival of theater, dance, music, visual art and spoken word that travels to three Chicago Parks over three consecutive weekends in September, all focused on cultivating peace in Chicago.

Coming to more than 115 theaters nationwide today, August 2 at 7:00 pm (local time) is Ballet Hispanico, led by Artistic Director Eduardo Vilaro, with two audience favorites: CARMEN.maquia, an electrifying contemporary take on Bizet's passionate opera choreographed by Spaniard Gustavo Ramirez Sansano, and Club Havana, a virtuosic re-imagining of a sizzling nightclub by Cuban-born choreographer Pedro Ruiz. The film will include special behind-the-scenes interviews with the dancers and a glimpse of the company's rehearsals.

For its 20th anniversary show, Collaboraction is exploring mankind, technology and our connection to it all with the world premiere of CONNECTED, the story of humankind as told by the nine planets in our solar system, starting with the Big Bang and stopping at numerous historical and future campfires along the way.
