The Tank To Celebrate 15th Anniversary With Gala Today

The Tank (Meghan Finn and Rosalind Grush, Artistic Directors) will hold their 15th Anniversary Gala today, May 22 at their home, 312 West 36th Street (between 8th and 9th Avenues). The event will honor Randi Berry of IndieSpace, an organization that creates 'permanent real estate solutions for the independent theater community'. IndieSpace was instrumental in finding The Tank's new home, and we'll be celebrating The Tank's home, history, and future with this exciting event. Tickets ($75-$1200) may be purchased in advance at www.thetankgala.com. 

The Tank Hosts World Premiere Of Lizzie Stern's LET'S GET READY TOGETHER

The Tank (Meghan Finn and Rosalind Grush, Artistic Directors) will present the World Premiere of Lizzie Stern's Let's get ready together, directed by Lily Riopelle at The Tank (312 West 36th Streetbetween 8th and 9th Avenues), May 30-June 10. Performances will be Wednesday, May 30, Thursday, May 31, Friday, June 1, Saturday, June 2, Sunday, June 3, Monday, June 4, Wednesday, June 6, Thursday, June 7, Friday, June 8, Saturday, June 9, and Sunday, June 10 at 7 pm. Tickets ($15) are available for advance purchase at www.thetanknyc.org. The performance will run approximately 90 minutes, with no intermission.

Pedro Reyes' MANUFACTURING MISCHIEF To Receive NYC Premiere at The Tank

The Tank (Meghan Finn and Rosalind Grush, Artistic Directors) will present the New York Premiere of Pedro Reyes' Manufacturing Mischief, written by Paul Hufker and directed by Meghan Finn (Doomocracy with Creative Time at the Brooklyn Army Terminal) at The Tank (312 West 36th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues), June 5-24.

The Goodman to Examine the Ferguson Unrest and Aftermath in Two Plays

A collective of perspectives. A public outcry. The establishment of a movement. This month, two new plays- Until the Flood by Dael Orlandersmith, directed by Neel Keller and florissant & canfield by Kristiana Rae Colon, directed by Derrick Sanders-bring a national dialogue to the stage.

Ran Xia's ECHO To Play The Tank

The Tank (Meghan Finn and Rosalind Grush, Artistic Directors) will present The Arctic Group's ECHO, written and audio designed by Ran Xia and directed by Nicholas Orvis at The Tank (312 West 36th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues) April 12-21. The Tank (Meghan Finn and Rosalind Grush, Artistic Directors), The Renovationists, and Parity Productions will co-present the World Premiere of Corbin Went's OLD NAMES FOR WILDFLOWERS, directed by Emma Rosa Went at The Tank (312 West 36th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues), May 11-25. Performances will be Friday, May 11 at 8pm, Saturday, May 12 at 8pm, Sunday, May 13 at 7pm, Thursday, May 17 at 8pm, Friday, May 18 at 8pm, Saturday, May 19 at 8pm, Sunday, May 20 at 7pm, Wednesday, May 23 at 8pm, Thursday, May 24 at 8pm, and Friday, May 25 at 8pm. Celeste Cahn's A LADY DOES NOT SCRATCH HER CROTCH To Play The Tank

The Tank (Meghan Finn and Rosalind Grush, Artistic Directors) will present a limited engagement of Celeste Cahn's solo show, A Lady Does Not Scratch Her Crotch at The Tank (312 West 36th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues) April 11-18. Performances will be Wednesday, April 11 at 7pm, Thursday, April 12 at 9:30pm, Tuesday, April 17 at 7pm and Wednesday, April 18 at 7pm.

Ensemble Studio Theatre Announces Casting For World Premiere Of DIDO OF IDAHO

ENSEMBLE STUDIO THEATRE (EST) (William Carden, Artistic Director, Paul A. Slee, Executive Director), EST's YOUNGBLOOD (Graeme Gillis and RJ Tolan, Co-Artistic Directors), whose past plays include the Tony Award-nominated Hand to God, and The Radio Drama Network are proud to announce casting for the World Premiere of DIDO OF IDAHO, written by Abby Rosebrock (Singles in Agriculture) and directed by Mikhaela Mahony (Noise of the Future). DIDO OF IDAHO begins previews at EST's Curt Dempster Theatre (549 W. 52nd Street, New York, NY 10019) on March 14, 2018, with an opening night set for March 22, for a limited run through April 8, 2018.

THELMA LOUISE; DYKE REMIX To Play The Tank

After a sold out run last summer in The Tank's 'Pride Fest' T and L, and their magical flying Thunderbird/badass rock band are back for a one-night-only concert reading at the Tank on Monday February 19th at 7pm.

The Tank's New Cabaret Series to Feature Underrepresented Artists

After several exciting and successful shows in the fall of 2017 (Only You, A Queer Cabaret; Love: A How (Not) To Guide; and No Way To Say Goodbye by artists Donnie and Rebecca Cianciotto, Jen Anaya and Deepali Gupta) The Tank (Meghan Finn and Rosalind Grush, Artistic Directors) is launching a full season of monthly cabaret events for 2018! Tank-aret: A Taste of Something Different, a new cabaret series featuring underrepresented artists, will kick off on Saturday, January 20 at 10:30pm, in the 99-seat theater space at The Tank (312 West 36th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues).
