Marking its 11th year, the New York Comedy Festival (NYCF), in association with Comedy Central, announced its 2014 line-up today. The festival, spanning from November 5 – 9, will feature comedy's biggest stars performing in New York City's most prestigious venues, including the Beacon Theatre, Carnegie Hall, The Theater at Madison Square Garden and Town Hall.

Wells Fargo Center for the Arts announced 24 new shows for 2014-2015 featuring world-class performances in music, dance, comedy, speakers and family entertainment. For 33 years, Wells Fargo Center for the Arts has presented a popular and diverse range of outstanding performances for fans of all ages and diverse interests. DSI Comedy Theater has settled into its new home. The Triangle comedy mainstay is breaking in its new stage with a month of special appearances from notable performers from around the country. Friday, May 16 and Saturday, May 17, DSI is welcoming Key and Peele Writer and Co-Producer Rich Talarico for two 8:30 p.m. shows and workshops throughout the weekend. Tickets cost $10. After a 19-month hiatus, television's most critically acclaimed comedy series Louie returned in fine fashion as the fourth season premiere episode (5/5/14, 10 PM) was up +19% vs. the series' season three average (941,000 vs. 791,000) and +26% in Adults 18-49 (635,000 vs. 505,000).

There are a lot of hammers and nails at work in DSI Comedy Theater's new home. Beginning today, May 1, DSI Comedy Theater will be running classes and shows in its new space at 462 W. Franklin Street. DSI Comedy Theater staff and local contractors have been hard at work putting the finishing touches on the new space. The new space will kick off with a stellar weekend of performances welcoming New York City based musical sketch comedy sensations, Pop Roulette, Friday, May 2 and Saturday, May 3 at 8:30 p.m.

'Dateline Saturday Night Mystery” (0.9/3 in 18-49, 5.2 million viewers overall) matched NBC's highest adult 18-49 rating in the slot, excluding sports in 19 months (since Sept. 15, 2012). In total viewers, 'Dateline Saturday Night Mystery” jumped +15% week to week (to 5.173 million from 4.502 million) to the show's biggest audience in five weeks (since March 22). 'DatelineSaturday Night Mystery” tied for the #1 non-sports program in the time period among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 and was #1 among all programs on those nets in women 18-49 and women 25-54.
