Announcing The 80th NNPN Rolling World Premiere, RED BIKE By Caridad Svich

National New Play Network, the country's alliance of nonprofit theaters that champions the development, production, and continued life of new plays, announces its 80th Rolling World Premiere (RWP): Red Bike by Caridad Svich. The Roll includes Member Theaters PYGmalion Productions (April 20-May 5 in Salt Lake City), Simpatico Theatre (June 6-24 in Philadelphia), Know Theatre of Cincinnati (January 11-February 2, 2019), and The Wilbury Theatre Group (April 11-21, 2019 in Providence). Red Bike was presented at NNPN's 2017 National Showcase of New Plays, hosted by Orlando Shakespeare Theatre.

Acclaimed Performance Artist And Theater-Maker Angélica Liddell Comes To Peak Performances

Peak Performances presents the U.S. premiere of Esta Breve Tragedia de la Carne (This Brief Tragedy of the Flesh), Spanish writer, director, and performance artist Angelica Liddell's encapsulation of Emily Dickenson's morbidly beautiful understanding of the human condition. EL COLONEL NO TIENE QUIEN LE ESCRIBA ( No One Writes to the Colonel ), a world premiere play based on the fiction of the Nobel Prize winning Colombian novelist Gabriel Garc a M rquez, will debut this winter at Repertorio Espa ol (138 E. 27 St. in Manhattan) with previews beginning February 23 prior to an official press opening on February 27, it has been announced by Robert Federico, Executive Producer of Repertorio Espa ol, which is now celebrating its 50th season as one of Off-Broadway's longest-running, continuous theatres, and the ONLY company that presents Spanish-language/English translated (simultext) plays in NYC.

Repertorio Announces Marquez Adaptation EL CORONEL NO TIENE QUIEN LE ESCRIBA

A new play directed by the renowned Colombian Director Jorge Al Triana, starring Germ n Jaramillo and Zulema Clares. The production marks the second work of Repertorio Espa ol's 50th Anniversary Season. Previews begin on February 23rd and the premiere will take place on Tuesday, February 27, 2018
